A bold vision for our time
Across thousands of conversations and prayers, layers of data and program analysis, and an honest assessment of current funding realities, we have identified the ways in which we are uniquely called and equipped to witness and to serve. Vision 2030 commits us to:
Sustain, strengthen, and grow our most vital mission programs so that we can be fully present, equipped, and ready to meet the scale of need in our community for decades to come
Reimagine and enhance our community-level infrastructure for reaching out to our neighbors in the highest areas of need, meeting them in their communities, near their homes
Advance new programs and data-driven research partnerships that drive innovation and help our teams learn how to maximize the impact of each of our programs
Assuring our vitality and
impact for decades to come
In March 2024, we announced the launch of our Vision 2030 strategic plan — and with it, several decisions designed to realign services for greater impact over the years ahead:
- We will continue to partner with government at the local and state levels to provide essential services, but at a reduced level.
- We will continue to operate at a significant scale, between $175 million to $200 million annually, to provide essential programs and services across our three impact areas.
Our guiding strategy
Vision 2030 is a message of hope for hundreds of thousands of people and families we will accompany over the years ahead. Anchored in three guiding principles, it translates the values that have driven us for over a century into courageous action at a time when urgency, pace, and scale matter enormously.
