Emergency Financial Assistance
If you are a Catholic Charities participant and face sudden hardship, you may qualify.
Do you have further questions?
Connect with our team for help (8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday).
If you are a Catholic Charities program participant and find yourself experiencing an emergency situation with nowhere else to turn, you may be eligible to receive direct financial assistance.
Available within 48 hours, this assistance may help you maintain stability during unstable circumstances, for example by alleviating financial hardship caused by a sudden car repair, unexpected medical bill, or another one-time expense that threatens to tip you and your family toward financial crisis.
While we would like to be able to offer emergency financial assistance to anyone in need, our funding is limited and we run out of funds every month. Because of this, in order to qualify for assistance at this time, you must already receive services from Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Chicago.

They didn’t judge me for who I am. And that showed me that no matter what goes on in my life, I can always come to Catholic Charities."
